Yaaay I like how this one came out a LOT.

If you've seen Ice Age, there's one song by Rusted Root that totally drew this picture straight out of me. It's REALLY cool, download it if you're in the mood. Here's the lyrics:

Weird lyrics I know, but it's a BEAUTIFUL song. Totally made me think about traveling in the clear freezing winter. Kona is seen here taking a break, actually enjoying below zero breeze because her fur is otter-thick during the winter so she digs the cold climates.

Although I've drawn her sorta bulky and lanky looking here I rather like it. Seems to fit the traveler's look. I'd drawn a knife on her belt and had it halfway colored but I decided to take it off because she's not hunting or being some mighty warrior, she's just on a journey. SHE took forever. Sky took like, three seconds. :roll:

Yea I lightened it up a LOT. Did the lines around the clothes brown and the lines around her light purple :B :heart:

You know how much ah like this :3 I really do love the mix of purple and brown, it's so unusual, but it works so well!
Love the shading on her, from the harsher cell shading of the white, to the subtler shading of the purple and brown, it all looks good!
I know the background was quick to you, but I STILL love it!

That song is very pretty, it does work with this :3

I can see why you really like this Keia. It looks absolutely beautiful.

I wouldn't have thought that brown and purple would mix together so well, but you've definitely proved me wrong. I love the way you've shaded her boots/pants. I like her relaxed expression. It suits the calm sky background you've used. The soft coloured line art is a nice touch too. I wonder what Tanuki's gift is...
